Condition: Overall good condition commensurate with age. Minor scuffs to frame. Very minor craquelure along middle bottom section of painting. Otherwise very good condition and ready to hang.
Arno Lemke (1916 – 1999) was a German landscape painter. He was active in Munich and received his artistic education at several prestigious academies, including those in Paris, Munich, Berlin, and Konigsberg. It is likely that he was a student of Leo King. Throughout his career, Lemke traveled extensively, visiting various European countries and even the Middle East. He showcased his artistic work through exhibitions held at notable venues such as the Haus der Kunst in Munich.
