Ann Zahn (1931 – 2020) was a Washington, D.C. artist who’s artistic journey left an enduring legacy in the D.C. art scene. A graduate of Duke University with an MFA degree from American University, she shared her artistic insights as a teacher at both institutions. She also taught the University of Maryland and George Mason University. She was the co-director of the Graphics Workshop at the Glen Echo Art Center and a founding member of various art ventures, including Washington Area Printmakers and Creative Partners Gallery. Her works showed at prestigious galleries, including the Katzen Gallery, Corcoran Gallery of Art, Baltimore Museum of Art, and the National Museum of Women in the Arts.
