Gladys Hack Goldstein (1918 - 2010) was an American abstract artist whose work ranged from representational portraits to impressionist and expressionist captures. Her work was applauded for her exceptional handling of light and color with dynamic patterns and rhythms that captured changing moods. She choose to be a regional artist based in Baltimore, Maryland and focused on teaching art first at community centers, and later at Baltimore’s College of Notre Dame. Her work has been exhibited at the. National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C., Baltimore Museum of Art, and the Peale Museum.
